Rod Pocket (or How do I hang the background?)
There is no rod pocket. We recommend a pair of A-clamps to hang them. With the A-clamps, you can put it up and take it down a lot faster. You can also create a very pleasant drapping effect with the clamps. You can also use tape to stick it on your wall.
 

Color Variation
Do not judge the color of the muslin with your naked eyes. The camera "sees" the background very differently than your eyes, which has the greatest and fastest ability to make adjustment. The background picks up the tone of the light source and blend in a color than your eyes may quickly filter out. Some paint/dye has a reflective property that gives a darker and richer color in the pictures than your eyes see it. The color may vary slightly from one batch to another.

However, background in photography is the greatest illusion of the trade. You can get many different results by varying your lights source, the distance, and angle of the lights. Post a subject a few feet away from the background and play with different lighting.
 

Wrinkle
The muslin background is shipped folded. The straight line creases are not the best pattern for photography. Crumpling the background removes the straight line creases. It also gives you a very pleasant uneven pattern. Putting the crumpled background in your bathroom for a day or two lets it absorb the moisture and helps making the muslin easier to handle. You may also spray some water mist to accelerate the process.

You may also use steamer or iron on the muslin.
