macro tube
With the three 9mm, 16mm and 30mm extensions tubes you can achieve up
to 8 different combinations of macro ranges. Also included in the package
is one male and one female adapters, which are not meter-coupled, therefore
manual focusing and manual aperture setting are required.
When mounted onto a 50mm lens, the magnification ratios are:
1) Only mounting tube without extension tube (1:0.34)
2) Mounting tubes + Tube 1 (1:0.48)
3) Mounting tubes + Tube 2 (1:0.62)
4) Mounting tubes + Tube 1&2 (1:0.76)
5) Mounting tubes + Tube 3 (1:0.90)
6) Mounting tubes + Tube 1&3 (1:1.04)
7) Mounting tubes + Tube 2&3 (1:1.18)
8) Mounting tubes + Tube 1,2&3 (1:1.32)
(just for info only, no guarantee of ratio accuracy)

Tips for Canon
As EF lens doesn't have a manual aperture ring, you can only shoot with aperture wide open. There's workaround thou:
1) Mount the EF Lens to the camera
2) Set the required aperture
3) Press and hold DOF preview button, at the same time remove the lens. Now the lens has close down its aperture.
4) Mount the lens to the extension tube, and to the camera.
5) Start shooting with the "closed" aperture.
